| DESCRIPTION (english): | A Russian design supported by German capital, this unusual aircraft has twin contra-rotating rotors with a collective control on the upper rotor and cyclic on the lower. There is no blade articulation of any sort: these functions are performed by the flexible composite rotor blades. The system is undoubtedly efficient, hence the use of what is by two-seat rotorcraft standards a low-power engine, the Rotax 912S. |
