DESCRIPTION (english):	The EB28 Edition is a self-launching Open Class two-seater. At the beginning Binder modified a batch of ten Schleicher ASH25s by increasing the span to 28 m and fitting a one-piece canopy. A new stiffer six-piece wing was created and the next aircraft produced got the name EB28; further updates were done and the plane got the name "Edition". It can be flown with a wingspan of 25.3 m or 28.3 m. The tips have wheels, allowing the aircraft to take off without a wing-tip runner. The 60hp liquid cooled Solo engine gives a climb of 2.5 m/s. It was certified in 2010. Already during construction of the shells (fuselage, wing and elevator) weight is saved by taking out surplus resin by vacuum sucking - for example 10kg weight in fuselage shells. Additional 5 kg can be saved by using lithium-mangan-batteries in the fuselage. The wingtips have a new profile and new winglets.

Au début, Binder a modifié un lot de 10 Schleicher ASH25 en augmentant l’envergure à 28 m et en installant une verrière en une seule pièce. Une nouvelle aile plus rigide en 6 parties a été créée etet baptisé EB28. D’autres mises à jour ont été réalisées. Il peut être piloté avec une envergure de 25,3 ou 28,3 m. Les bouts d’aile sont équipés de roues. Le moteur Solo de 60 ch refroidi par liquide permet une montée à 2,5 m/s. Il a été certifié en 2010. Dès la construction des coques (fuselage, aile et gouverne de profondeur), le poids est optimisé (construction sous vide).
DESCRIPTION (german):	Die EB28 Edition ist ein eigenstartfähiger Doppelsitzer der offenen Klasse mit einer neuen, steiferen, sechsteiligen Tragfläche und einteiligen Haube. Sie wurde 2010 zertifiziert. Durch Verwendung von längeren oder kürzeren Flügelenden kann eine Spannweite von 25,3 m oder 28,3 m gewählt werden. Dank der Flügelspitzenräder benötigt man zum Starten keine fremde Hilfe. Zur Gewichtsoptimierung (geringes Leergewicht) werden die Hauptbauteile wie Rumpf und Flügel sowie diverse weitere Bauteile im Vakuumverfahren gebaut. Dies ermöglicht einen breiten Spielraum für die Flächenbelastung. Der flüssigkeitsgekühlte 60 PS Solo-Motor ermöglicht ein Steigen von 2,5 m/s. Reichweite bis 900 km. Die Ansteckflügel sind mit neuem Profil (Profildicke 12,5 %) und neuem Winglets ausgestattet.
